Gaelica is a fusion of Celtic and American folk music with classical and jazz nuances. The band explores the musical migration from the British Isles, crossing the Atlantic through Appalachia, arriving at the progressive west coast of America. As a quartet, Gaelica offers the traditional instruments of guitar, mandolin, whistles, cittern, harmonica and bass while surprising listeners with stunning oboe and cello performances which are unique to this genre.
